how can I run a kenmore dryer that takes 240 volts 21 amps from a 110 volt 30 amp recreational Vehicle spot?

I was given a stackable washer and dryer unit I live in a RV that runs 110 volt in a 30 amp spot, the washer works but the dryer needs 240 volts 21 amps to run, how can I convert? so that it will work? can anyone help me?

Answer:
The simplest way is to sell the 240V unit and buy one that runs on 110V.

If your RV is stationary - you don't motor around the country - you COULD have it wired to run 240V to the washer/dryer. I don't know what it would cost, though. And if the washer/dryer are old, you'll probably spend a ton on getting a replacement that runs on 240V. I think that 110V units are more common.

If your RV is mobile, and you travel in it, you'll have to find a 240V outlet in order to use it. If you don't find one, it's so much useless clutter in an already small space.

If you have an onboard generator, and it puts out 240V, you may be able to power it from that, if it puts out at least 21 amps. But if it does just that amperage or just a little more, you may find that the generator isn't big enough to power the dryer and the rest of the RV, so you may have to upgrade the generator.

110V power is everywhere in the US. I'd sell the 240V for whatever you can get for it, and use the proceeds towards a more user-friendly 110V system.
