If an rv park has wi-fi thu-out and I install a wireless card in my desktop, will I be able to connect OK?

I'm assuming the rv park that has wireless has some type of modem in their office or router. If I put a wireless card in my desktop in my rv, I'm assuming I should be able to connect to the internet ok. This wi-fi stuff is new to me..I am assuming I need to buckle down my security backdoor also...any input on these questions? Thanks

Answer:
It depends if the wireless signal requires a password to connect. You should be able to connect to it alright, provided you're in range, but if they have a password, and you don't know it, you won't be able to get on to the internet.
